Delta Insurance Australia (Delta) has launched its Cyber and Management Liability products on Ebix Australia’s Sunrise Exchange, expanding its digital distribution capability and making it easier for brokers to access key SME protection covers through a single trading platform.
Ebix Australia’s Managing Director, Philip Fourie, welcomes Delta to Sunrise, adding that “the launch reflects the growing demand from underwriters and brokers for efficient digital placement across financial lines.” “Ebix continues its rapid ascent as the leading digital placement platform, leveraging innovative technology to solidify its status as the preferred choice for over 670 brokerages across Australia,” said Fourie.
The move marks Delta’s first deployment on Sunrise Exchange, reflecting Delta’s continued focus on simplifying placement, reducing administrative friction and improving speed to market for brokers operating in increasingly complex risk environments.
Delta’s Managing Director, Hamish MacLean, said, “The Sunrise Exchange launch aligns with Delta’s broader strategy of meeting brokers where they want to trade, while continuing to deliver practical protection that reflects how SME risks actually arise.”
“Brokers can access Delta’s covers quickly and seamlessly, without compromising on underwriting quality or coverage intent,” he adds.
Both Cyber and Management Liability products were designed and delivered in partnership with Entsia, utilising the Entsia Platform and Entsia’s two-week accelerated accreditation process for Ebix. Further product launches are in progress as Delta continues to invest in digital accessibility and broker-led distribution.
The Sunrise Exchange deployment supports Delta’s holistic risk approach, with Commercial Legal Expenses designed to integrate with both Cyber and Management Liability.
“Delta adds pursuing legal capability to traditionally defensive insurance, making it a compelling offer to brokers and their clients.” “It’s a simple way to close a major gap in financial lines coverage without adding complexity,” said Hamish.
