Delta Spotlight - Courtney Clout, Office Manager
Delta Insurance Australia was on the money when they hired Courtney Clout. The warm and personable office administrator was introduced to the brand by Steve Carey, the Aussie operation’s founder and director.
“Steve was an underwriting partner while I was a broker,” she says.
“He was one the brokerages closest partners, while Jacqui (Warwick) used to visit clients with our team to get across the more complex risks. So when Steve reached out about the job, I knew that if both of them were there it was going to be a great place to work.”
Courtney says Steve told her Delta prided itself on its culture. While she knew he was being genuine, it wasn’t until she started at the company that she understood just exactly what he meant.
“They don’t kid around about something as important as employee culture,” she says.
“We’re all so supportive of each other. No one’s above or below any tasks and we all just chip in to get the job done for our clients.”
Courtney says she has loved seeing the response to the Delta Insurance brand as the team has introduced it to the Australian market.
“Head office is usually always in Sydney or Melbourne, so it has been great for our local brokers to launch something here in Brisbane,” she says.
“I’m excited about our growth plans and am looking forward to introducing Delta to the rest of Australia as we continue to expand.”
